Independent professionals

Artists and studios on STNCL are independent professionals. They are not employees or agents of STNCL, and they retain control of their pricing, schedule and creative decisions.

Fees

Customers use STNCL for free: creating an account, posting a tattoo, receiving artist responses and booking are all free. Artists and studios pay a monthly subscription for the professional tools. The current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. There is no commission on a tattoo, no listing fee and no charge for verification or for being matched.

Subscriptions renew every month until cancelled. If you subscribe on our website, HolmesLabs LLC charges the card you provide, and you can cancel or change the card in Account. If you subscribe inside the STNCL iOS or Android app, Apple or Google takes the payment under their own terms, and you must cancel or change it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings — closing your STNCL account does not cancel a subscription bought in an app store. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and we do not pro-rate part-months.
